Client Safety Guidelines

We thank you in advance for following the safety guidelines below for the well-being of all of our clients & staff: 


1.  We ask that you please sign our COVID-19 Questionnaire & Liability Waiver (BELOW) either the day before or the morning of your massage appointment.  Please sign your name in the signature box at the bottom of the form using your finger, stylus or mouse.  You can sign it on your computer, tablet or phone.  Also, please don’t forget to press “send” after signing it.   If you answer YES to any of the questions, we ask that you please call to reschedule your massage at a later date.  (You will not be charged a cancellation fee.)   We will need a new questionnaire/waiver signed for every massage appointment.  

*Please note:  The date is automatically filled in for you and can not be changed.  If you are having trouble filling in the waiver, please try using a different browser or a different device.  If none of that works, please print it & sign it.  We’re sorry for any inconvenience.

2.  We ask that you please wear a face covering/mask that covers your mouth & nose while in our office and during your massage, even if you are fully vaccinated.  Our massage therapists & staff will also be wearing face coverings for your safety.  If you forget your face covering, we will provide one.  



3.  We ask that you please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early for your appointment to give us plenty of time to disinfect the massage room & reception area for you.  When you do arrive, please wait on the porch for one of us to check your temperature.   If your temperature is over 100 degrees, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment at a later date.  (You will not be charged a cancellation fee.)  



4.  Since contactless payments are the safest option right now, we encourage you to prepay for your massage before you arrive at our office using PayPal: PayPal.Me/EssentialsMT   

Please do NOT include a tip with your PayPal massage payment.  If you’d like to send a contactless tip to your massage therapist, below are their individual PayPal accounts:

If you are paying by cash, we ask that you please bring the correct change.  If bringing a cash tip for your massage therapist, please give it to them directly, preferably in an envelope.

If you are paying by credit card in person, we will ask you to insert your card into the chip reader yourself.  Also, please consider bringing your own pen to sign the receipt.  (Reminder: We do not accept tips on credit or debit cards.   Please bring a cash tip for your massage therapist or send a contactless tip to their individual PayPal account, see above.)  

If you are using a gift certificate, please email or call us ahead of time with the gift certificate number.  If you received the gift certificate by email, you can just forward the email to us.  



5.  If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of getting a massage at our office, we ask that you please let us know asap so that we can take appropriate actions for everyone’s safety.
