COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

We want to assure you that we are doing everything under our control to follow all CDC, Federal & State COVID-19 guidelines. We have put some updated safety measures in place to minimize the risk of contracting the novel Covid-19 virus. We will be checking our staff’s temperature each day before work and they will be sent home if they have a temperature over 100°F.  Our staff must wear face coverings when interacting with clients & performing massages. They must also wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after each massage. As always, we will be using clean linens for each massage. We are leaving extra time between each client for the massage tables, headrests and treatment rooms to be thoroughly cleaned & disinfected before each massage. We will also be performing thorough cleaning & disinfection of frequently touched surfaces every 60 minutes.  We are also using air purifiers with HEPA filters & UV lights in every room.  


1.   We ask that you please wait to schedule or reschedule your massage for a later date if you answer YES to any of the questions below:

  • Have you had a fever in the last 72 hours of 100°F or above? 
  • Do you now, or have you recently had any respiratory or flu symptoms, cough, chills, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or shortness of breath? 
  • Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms?



2.  We ask that you please wear a face covering or mask that covers your mouth and nose while in our reception area & common areas.   If you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you may remove your mask during your massage.  Please either email a copy of your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to us or be prepared to show it to your massage therapist at your next appointment.  (If you are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you please wear a mask during your massage.) 



3.  We ask that you please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early for your appointment to give us plenty of time to disinfect the massage room & reception area for you. 



4.  For your convenience,  you are welcome to prepay for your massage before you arrive at our office using PayPal: PayPal.Me/EssentialsMT   

Please do NOT include a tip with your PayPal massage payment.  If you’d like to send a contactless tip to your massage therapist, their individual PayPal accounts are listed below:

You are also welcome to pay in person with Cash or Credit/Debit Cards.  (Reminder:  we do not accept tips on credit/debit cards.  Please bring cash if you’d like to leave a tip for your massage therapist or you may send them a tip via PayPal (see above).  



5.  If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of getting a massage at our office, we ask that you please let us know ASAP so that we can take appropriate actions for everyone’s safety.
